Description
The Data Center Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare material and labor estimates for products, projects, or services. The role reviews data for material and labor requirements, computes cost factors, prepares estimates for planning and bidding, consults with clients and vendors, coordinates with internal stakeholders, and identifies cost trends. It requires at least two years of data or communications experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, detailed scope-writing ability, knowledge of low-voltage cabling and systems, blueprint-reading skills, and strong communication skills; data-center estimation experience is preferred.
