Description
The Estimator prepares accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations for customer requests and internal projects. The role analyzes engineering drawings, specifications, labor, materials, tools, overhead, historical data, and production standards; develops estimating models and routing; evaluates supplier and vendor quotes; and collaborates with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales teams. The position also supports contract reviews, cost improvement, documentation, and process updates. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an engineering, manufacturing, business, or related degree and prior manufacturing or aerospace estimating experience are preferred. The role is based in Yorba Linda, California, with a Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. schedule and $27 per hour DOE.
