Description
The Estimator prepares and assists with bid preparation and submittals for projects involving the manufacturing and supply of steel and concrete pressure pipe. The role maintains cost information, develops estimating procedures, collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Project Coordination, and Plant Operations, and produces accurate conceptual, schematic, and final contract estimates while assessing construction risks and constructability issues. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, high-level estimating knowledge, experience with regulatory and discipline-specific industry standards, and the ability to analyze costs and identify value-engineering alternatives.
