The Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, and related documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates for manufacturing and repair projects. The role supports commercial and government contract work, collaborates with vendors, purchasing, and production teams, prepares quotes and sales orders, and leads government bids and projects using BidNet software. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, two to four years of related experience or training, blueprint-reading ability, familiarity with measuring tools, and the ability to work in a manufacturing or repair shop environment.
