Description
The Estimator develops conceptual through detailed FEL estimates and capital cost estimates for EPC projects, including small projects and proposals. The role applies advanced estimating techniques, prepares estimate plans and basis documents, reviews estimates, participates in reviews and presentations, and coordinates with project management, clients, and third-party consultants. It requires experience across mining, minerals, battery materials, refining, oil, gas, and chemical estimating, EPC practices, project and construction management, and the ability to develop detailed estimates with limited engineering input, staffing plans, contracting strategies, and site-specific wage rates. A BS in Engineering or Construction Management is a minimum qualification; Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Cleopatra, and Microsoft software proficiency are preferred.
