Description
The Preconstruction Estimator prepares cost estimates through conceptual, schematic, design-development, and construction-document stages; analyzes building systems; develops scope documents; performs value engineering; coordinates subcontractor and supplier participation; presents estimates to owners and design teams; and leads project kick-off and close-out meetings. The role requires five years of estimating, preconstruction, or civil engineering experience, strong construction-management knowledge, drawing and specification interpretation skills, MS Office and estimating-software proficiency, and a current driver’s license.
