Description
Mortenson is hiring an Estimator II to gather, calculate, and compile data for project estimates, including quantity takeoffs, material summations, vendor bid comparisons, pricing options, and full estimates for smaller projects. The role supports lead estimators, participates in plan and estimate reviews, gathers permitting and government information, manages addendum documents, and provides direction and training to new estimators and interns. Candidates need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least three years of construction operations experience, a current driver’s license, mathematical and estimating software skills, and strong customer service abilities. The base pay range is $91,700 to $123,800, with higher ranges in Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C., and the position does not offer visa sponsorship.
