Description
The Preconstruction Estimator develops pricing estimates for interior construction projects, including walls, electrical, millwork, timber, raised flooring, design, and installation. The role creates Bluebeam takeoffs, reviews construction documents, uses historical data and ICE software, prepares installation budgets and final cost estimates, submits orders to manufacturers, tracks opportunities in a CRM, and collaborates with designers, project managers, general contractors, and manufacturers. It requires a four-year degree in architecture, design, or construction management, at least three years of relevant experience, architectural-plan interpretation, DIRTT and ICE software knowledge, and the ability to visit job sites.
