The Estimator plays a crucial role in supporting preconstruction efforts and leading bid estimation projects. This involves interpreting CPM schedules, identifying constructability issues, developing subcontractor scopes, analyzing proposals, and tracking cost differences. The Estimator must also manage subcontractor relationships, anticipate scope changes, and contribute to cost-saving ideas using spreadsheets and financial data. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering teamwork and driving innovation.
