E-J Electric Installation Co. is hiring an experienced Estimator for its Large Specialty Projects division, focused on Transit & Rails. The remote role reports to New York City, NY and is responsible for reviewing project documents, preparing detailed electrical cost estimates, collaborating with bid, engineering, and project management teams, and managing vendor/subcontractor quotes. Candidates should have at least 8 years of electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, proficiency with estimating and Microsoft software, and preferably a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field. The position offers a salary of $135,000 to $180,000 annually and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K, with flexible and possibly hybrid work arrangements.
