Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Icheon-Gwango, Korea. The role serves as a customer liaison and installs, maintains, and upgrades semiconductor equipment while using digital analytics and basic diagnostics to troubleshoot electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. The engineer performs preventative and corrective maintenance, coordinates with customers, and works in a clean-room environment with physical demands including extended standing, climbing, and lifting up to 35 pounds. An associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification is required, along with 1–2 years of customer or field service support experience.
