Description
The Ethics Committee Administrator performs professional-level administrative and legal work for the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics, including advising legislators and the public, conducting ethics training, reviewing disclosures, investigating complaints, preparing reports and recommendations, managing the committee budget and staff, coordinating meetings, maintaining the website and Standards of Conduct Handbook, and communicating with the legislature, media, government agencies, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong legal analysis, research, writing, public speaking, confidentiality, and impartiality, and may supervise one permanent part-time staff person and contractual service providers.
