Description
APTIM is hiring an Evaporator Operator to operate and troubleshoot the mechanical and electrical systems of a landfill or natural-gas leachate evaporation plant. The role includes monitoring process-control equipment, interpreting plant procedures, maintaining records, performing calibration checks, observing gauges and indicators, and conducting daily health and safety observations. The operator must work in all weather conditions, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, travel for training and vacation coverage, and complete a seven-day on-call rotation. Landfill gas and computer/PLC experience are preferred. The stated pay range is $27–$32 per hour, with medical, vision, and dental insurance available through the benefits marketplace.
