Description
Great Western Dining Service is hiring a full-time Cook for its Southeast Community College - Lincoln location, working Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The role prepares ingredients, cooks meals for various meal periods and special events, follows recipes and HACCP safety policies, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and ensures proper food storage. Candidates need proven cook experience, knowledge of grilling, baking, boiling, and other cooking methods, familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation and teamwork skills, and strong communication skills. The position requires continuous standing or walking, frequent bending and lifting, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Pay is $16–$18 per hour.
