USA TODAY Co. is hiring an Event Operations Manager to plan, produce, and execute operational components for endurance events in the Ventures Endurance Events portfolio. The role manages timelines, course and site layouts, permits, vendors, contracts, budgets, inventory, community partners, and onsite execution, while collaborating with internal teams and supporting event development. It is primarily remote with occasional in-office work, approximately 50% travel, and weekend or non-traditional hours as needed. Candidates need 1–3+ years of event, race, or live-event operations experience; outdoor athletic or endurance-event experience is preferred. The annualized base salary is $65,000–$70,000.
