Description
The Events Worker is a temporary or on-call support staff position for concerts, sporting events, outdoor functions, and related university special events in East Lansing. Duties may include concession stand work, preparing and dispensing refreshments, transporting and arranging supplies and equipment, operating a cash drawer, parking enforcement, traffic direction, parking transactions, customer service, and event ushering. The role may work two nine-month terms with a week break between terms, or switch to on-call, with on-call workers allowed up to 1,039 hours in any 12-month period.
