Description
The Environmental Services Support Aide performs medical solid waste and trash collection, linen distribution, floor care, janitorial, and environmental services duties throughout a healthcare facility. The role requires heavy lifting and moving, proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, infection-control awareness, and completion of on-the-job training. Surgical-services duties include operating-room floor care and floor-cleaning equipment experience. The position pays $25.00 to $27.48 per hour, follows an 8-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and requires an every-other weekend schedule.
