Description
The Environmental Services Support Aide performs medical solid waste and trash collection, linen distribution, floor care, janitorial, and environmental services duties throughout a healthcare facility. The role requires heavy lifting and moving, proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, infection-control awareness, and completion of on-the-job training. Surgical-services duties include operating-room floor care and floor-cleaning equipment experience. The position is scheduled for an 8-hour 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift, with every-other weekend requirements, and pays $25.00–$27.48 per hour.
