Archer is hiring an eVTOL State Estimation Engineer to design, implement, integrate, verify, and validate state estimation algorithms for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The role focuses on sensor fusion, Simulink modeling, hardware and flight testing, sensor failure scenarios, and cross-functional collaboration. Applicants need a master’s degree in aerospace, electrical, robotics, or a related engineering field, or a PhD with the alternate experience requirement, along with at least 60 months of sensor fusion algorithm development and sensor modeling experience. The position offers $205,379 to $215,647.95 per year and does not offer work visa sponsorship.
