Description
The Excavator Operator will excavate trenches and cable conduits for fiber-optic telecommunications infrastructure in urban, rural, confined, and difficult ground conditions. The role coordinates with project managers and construction teams, follows safety regulations, and maintains excavators and other machinery. Applicants need excavator training or relevant experience, safe machinery-handling experience, knowledge of safety regulations, teamwork, reliability, and a class B driver’s license; class C/CE is an advantage. The position offers regional construction sites in South Thuringia and Northern Bavaria, above-tariff compensation, training, and development opportunities.
