Description
Thiess is hiring Excavator Operators for its 5-year contract with Pembroke Resources at the Olive Downs Complex, approximately 40 kilometres south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin. The role involves operating heavy mining equipment safely and efficiently, following safety and operational procedures, and contributing to a safe and productive mining environment. Permanent roles are offered on an even-time 7/7 day/night rotating roster with 12-hour shifts, including FIFO, BIBO, or DIDO options. Applicants need at least 12 months of production mining equipment experience, an SSE signed competency transcript, a current open driver’s licence, a valid Standard 11 certificate, and a commitment to safety. Preferred qualifications include experience with CAT MineStar technologies.
