Description
Eaton Asphalt is hiring an Excavator Operator to support pipe crews and concrete operations. The role involves operating hydraulic excavators for trenching, utility installation, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main work; setting trench boxes and shore trenches; digging around existing utilities; grading and backfilling; and performing equipment inspections and maintenance. The position also includes heavy construction and civil-engineering site support, including paving-material shoveling, pipe bedding, traffic control, and manual labor. It requires local travel, overtime, seasonal layoffs, extensive outdoor physical work, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
