Thiess is hiring a permanent full-time Excavator Operator for the Gruyere Gold Mine in Western Australia. The role involves operating a Liebherr 9600 equivalent excavator in a hard-rock production mining environment, loading haul trucks, maintaining benches and cut batters, and supporting safe, high-quality production. Candidates need 3–5 years of equivalent experience, a current Australian driver’s licence, and clearance for medical, drug and alcohol, and police checks. The position offers 2/2 or 2/1 rosters, accommodation, meals, recreation, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
