Description
IDEA Public Schools is hiring an Exceptional Student Education paraprofessional to support students with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities in educational, social, behavioral, and daily-living activities. The role assists teachers and facilitators with Individual Education Plans, classroom participation, student records, behavior support, and life-skills activities, and may include school-bus riding. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or at least 30 college credits is preferred, while special-education paraprofessional certification is preferred but not required. Compensation is $15.00 to $18.46 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement matching.
