Description
Safety National is hiring a Senior Underwriter specializing in excess workers’ compensation. The role evaluates new and renewal coverage, analyzes risk and loss information, structures programs and pricing, negotiates terms with brokers, develops new business, and maintains relationships with brokers and insureds. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or sufficient underwriting experience, at least three years of large workers’ compensation underwriting experience, regional market knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and approximately 40% of the time spent outside the office. It is a hybrid role based in Chicago, Illinois, with a target base salary of $101,500 to $131,000.
