Description

Cohere is hiring an Executive Director to lead the Blossom Rock master-planned community in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role oversees community operations, governance, resident engagement, communications, amenities, programs, budgets, and team development; partners with the developer and other stakeholders; and develops strategy and measurable results. It requires at least eight years of progressive experience in community management, operations, nonprofit management, community development, or a related field, plus at least five years of people leadership experience. The position is onsite Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends, and offers a salary of $115,000–$125,000 plus benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of progressive experience in community management, community operations, nonprofit management, community development, or a related field
5+ years of people leadership experience, including responsibility for team performance, development, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading within a large-scale master-planned community
Experience developing and managing budgets and translating strategic priorities into operating plans
Ability to build trusted relationships with developers, boards, residents, team members, and external stakeholders
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort making independent decisions
Experience with community governance, real estate or community development, municipal or public agencies, communications, or volunteer leadership
CAI CMCA or PCAM designation and a college degree
