Description
The Executive Director of Engineering will lead multiple engineering teams and manage a portfolio of backend platforms, data services, APIs, pipelines, and data products. The role combines strategic engineering leadership, organizational development, technical architecture, delivery execution, reliability, data governance, and stakeholder management. It requires a computer science or engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of software engineering experience, and at least 4 years of engineering leadership experience, with expertise in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, distributed systems, data engineering, cloud platforms, and modern engineering tooling.
