Description
Lamar University is hiring an Executive Director, Facilities Maintenance Services to lead and oversee maintenance operations across the main campus and satellite locations, including campus and grounds services, utilities, electrical, HVACR, plumbing, carpentry, painting, custodial, fire and life safety, locksmith, grounds, waste and recycling, moving, and logistics services. The role directs preventive and predictive maintenance, budget administration, emergency response, energy conservation, compliance, performance management, staffing, and stakeholder relationships. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least five years of progressively responsible experience in construction, facilities maintenance, and personnel management, and a Class C driver’s license. The position may require variable schedules and participation in emergency operations, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
