KCCI, the CBS affiliate in Des Moines, is seeking a hands-on Local News Executive Producer to lead the newsroom’s editorial vision across broadcast and digital platforms. The role oversees newscast rundowns and scripts, responds to breaking news, develops enterprise stories, manages and coaches newsroom staff, coordinates production resources, writes news stories, and booths newscasts when needed. Candidates need three years of producing experience, strong writing and visual-thinking abilities, multitasking and communication skills, journalistic integrity, and Adobe Premiere editing experience.
