Description
The role leads television news production from planning through air, overseeing newscasts, breaking-news coverage, editorial standards, and station-wide news priorities. It also manages, coaches, and develops producers, reporters, and digital staff while collaborating with news, assignment, digital, and production teams. The position requires 3–5 years of television news producing experience, strong editorial and broadcast-writing skills, newsroom-systems experience, and flexible availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended coverage.
