IREX is hiring an Executive Project Director to lead an 18-month donor-funded program focused on strengthening the free flow of information in a restrictive operating environment. The role serves as the principal donor liaison and oversees program quality, work planning, partner and subgrant engagement, financial management, compliance, monitoring, evaluation, learning, reporting, and adaptive implementation. It also provides senior management for dispersed program staff, consultants, advisors, and technical specialists, while contributing to proposal strategy and new-business development. The position requires at least 10 years of progressive experience, a bachelor's degree, English and Spanish proficiency, unrestricted United States work authorization, and experience with Latin America and the Caribbean, media freedom, digital safety, cybersecurity, and risk-sensitive program operations.
