Description
Chubb is hiring a Commercial Lines Excess Casualty Executive Underwriter to join its Los Angeles Branch and service the Los Angeles territory. The role generates approximately $1.5M–$2M in new business annually and manages a $5M–$7M renewal book, while meeting financial goals, developing producer relationships, presenting to brokers and customers, and collaborating with underwriting, operations, claims, marketing, and home-office leadership. Candidates should have strong sales, negotiation, communication, account-analysis, and organizational skills, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; at least three years of underwriting experience is preferred. The position offers a base salary of $115,000–$180,000 and may include a discretionary annual incentive program.
