Description
The role conducts physiological laboratory and field assessments for athletes in rehabilitation, outpatients, and other internal clients at Aspetar Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital. It manages altitude rooms, calibrates and maintains physiology testing equipment, assesses patients for exercise testing, interprets strength and endurance tests, develops individualized exercise prescriptions, monitors interventions, supports clinical practitioners and athletes, and collaborates on research. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Physiology, an advanced degree in a relevant sports or biological science, physiology certifications and licensing, 6–8 years of related experience, and demonstrated experience testing elite or professional athletes.
