Description
The Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist evaluates and treats adult and geriatric clients with cardiac, pulmonary, or peripheral artery disease limitations. The role provides treatment planning and implementation, coordinates care with other disciplines, educates clients and families, maintains treatment records, consults with internal and external customers, and participates in quality improvement and peer review. The position requires a BS or BA in Exercise Physiology, CPR and ACLS certification, EKG-reading knowledge, and the ability to modify exercise programs for individual needs; a master's degree, previous similar experience, and ACSM Exercise Specialist certification are preferred.
