Description

MANTECH is hiring a full-time Exercise Planner in Doral, Florida, to develop, execute, evaluate, and improve operational exercises and plans for defense readiness. The role involves needs assessments, exercise control plans and scenarios, coordination with government stakeholders, operational and contingency planning, real-time exercise management, after-action reviews, and analysis of training gaps. It requires an active Top Secret with SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and at least five years of operational planning and exercise design experience, with up to 30% CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, homeland security, military science, or a related field, or four years of additional experience in lieu of the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least five years of experience with operational planning and/or exercise design.
Experience developing and executing complex exercises and training events.
Experience working in a government or military operational environment with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in emergency management, homeland security, military science, or a related field.
Experience with government exercise planning tools and systems, such as JTIMS.
Certification in exercise planning or emergency management, such as CEP or MEP.
Experience at a Department of Defense combatant command or component down to an O-6 level command.
Graduation from a military intermediate or top-level school or a certified planner school.
