Deloitte Italia is hiring an Experienced – Cloud Developer for its Milan-based Commerce team in a hybrid arrangement. The role focuses on designing and developing NLP models, chatbots, recommendation engines, virtual shopping assistants, and other conversational AI solutions for e-commerce clients, using Google Cloud Platform and modern programming. Responsibilities include prototyping, prompt and context engineering, model performance analysis, documentation, and collaboration with senior consultants. The position requires a relevant degree, at least two years of software, AI/ML, or related project experience, hands-on programming, conversational AI knowledge, and strong communication skills. Compensation is EUR 33,000–37,500 for the Consultant grade or EUR 39,000–49,000 for the Senior Consultant grade under the specified collective bargaining agreement.
