The Direct Support Professional provides one-on-one support to an adult with disabilities in community and home settings, helping with daily routines, personal hygiene, household organization, safety, medications, transportation, social activities, and behavior management. The role requires flexibility, patience, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to follow individualized support plans; applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma preferred, one year of disability-services experience, a valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, a clean driving record, and pass a DHS background study.
