Intertek is hiring an experienced Field Testing Technician for its Building Science Solutions team in Plymouth, Michigan. The role supports field testing projects, building inspections, and forensic investigations of building envelope failures, including wall cladding, curtain walls, windows, doors, waterproofing, and roofing. Responsibilities include communicating with project teams, preparing and submitting reports, coordinating project execution, and interacting professionally with clients. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of commercial construction or building-envelope experience, physical ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds, daily travel to local job sites, and a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with hours that may vary.
