OPAL-RT Technologies is hiring an Experienced FPGA Designer for its Research and Development team to design, implement, validate, and optimize FPGA logic blocks for specialized electronic boards used in real-time digital simulators. The role focuses on VHDL development, high-speed communication interfaces, hardware and software architecture, testing, performance optimization, and collaboration with hardware, software, and application teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in microelectronics or electrical engineering or equivalent experience, 10 years of FPGA project experience, strong digital and high-speed circuit knowledge, familiarity with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families, and French language skills.
