Description
The Generator Specialist Technical Field Advisor provides on-site technical direction and hands-on maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty turbine generators in customer-owned utility and industrial power plants. The role leads generator field and stator rewinds, repairs, inspections, project execution, warranty administration, and technical leadership while traveling extensively and working holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Candidates need a technical or university degree or qualifying experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least five years of field services experience, plus at least three years in oil and gas, power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation and commissioning.
