AFC Materials Group is hiring a Machine Operator for its Coating Machine Operator role in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. The position operates vertical PTFE coating towers and horizontal coating equipment, prepares coating mixes, monitors product quality, completes run sheets and stock cards, and performs basic Syteline inventory transactions. The current second-shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a transition to 12-hour day or night shifts by the end of the year. Compensation is $19.00–$24.00 per hour plus a $2.50 second-shift differential, and the role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of machine-operator experience, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic computer skills, and willingness to obtain forklift certification.
