Description
The MA-2 Experienced Medical Assistant performs advanced clinical duties independently, including patient flow and rooming, EKGs, ABIs, injections, wound care, vaccine and medication administration, Athena case management, referrals, prior authorizations, patient forms, patient education, and escalation of clinical concerns. The role also mentors externs and assists with MA-1 onboarding, requires 2–5 years of experience, and prefers Medical Assistant certification, strong EHR proficiency, and organizational skills.
