Veolia Nuclear Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent contract in Chasse-sur-Rhône, France. The role manages mechanical work packages from design through implementation, supervises subcontractors and manufacturing, coordinates with clients and technical teams, performs mechanical studies and 2D/3D modeling, supports junior engineers, and contributes to cost estimates, presales, and R&D. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, 6–8 years of professional experience, nuclear-sector experience, special-purpose machinery or process-skid expertise, manufacturing follow-up skills, and a category B driving licence; national travel and site access subject to background checks are also required.
