Description
The Chemical Process Operator will work with a shift team to maintain a safe and stable production process for water-based polymers and additives. Responsibilities include operating the control system, converting production schedules into work orders, taking samples and performing quality checks, resolving malfunctions and performing first-line maintenance, supporting shutdown maintenance, and contributing to process, safety, and quality improvements. The role requires MBO-level process technology skills, a Vapro Operator B or C qualification or comparable qualification, at least three years of chemical-industry experience, Dutch proficiency, willingness to work a five-shift schedule, and a maximum commuting distance of 50 km around Heerenveen. Compensation includes a gross base salary of up to €5,000 per month, a 32% shift allowance, travel reimbursement, vacation benefits, a year-end bonus, and group health insurance.
