Description
Apple is hiring an Experimental Physicist to translate fundamental physics into hardware and systems technology. The role involves defining research topics and experimental strategies, designing and operating test setups, analyzing experimental data, characterizing material and system limits, developing simulation models, reporting results, and partnering with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. Candidates need a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field, at least five years of hands-on experimental physics experience, experience designing and building optical systems, and experience with simulation tools.
