Universal Quantum is hiring an Experimental Quantum Physicist to operate ion-trap quantum computing hardware, develop quantum control protocols, calibrate and characterise quantum systems, and build theoretical models and simulations. The role requires a PhD in AMO physics or a closely related field, at least five years of degree-inclusive experience in quantum-technology experiments, and experience leading a relevant quantum project.
