Description
Perle is hiring expert Croatian transcribers to convert audio recordings of native speakers into accurate, time-aligned written transcripts for AI speech, dialogue, and evaluation systems. The role requires native Croatian fluency, mastery of Croatian Latin orthography, knowledge of Stokavian, Kajkavian, and Chakavian varieties, the ability to distinguish Croatian from Serbian and Bosnian, and at least two years of professional transcription, captioning, court reporting, broadcast, translation, or linguistic annotation experience. Transcribers will handle speaker identification, overlapping speech, disfluencies, dialectal and code-switched speech, ambiguous segments, and audio-quality issues, with self-review and QA collaboration. Compensation is paid per task or per minute, with flexible scheduling and volume scaling.
