Perle is hiring expert Libyan Arabic transcribers to convert audio recordings of native speakers into accurate, time-aligned written transcripts for AI speech recognition, dialogue, and evaluation systems. The role requires native Libyan Arabic fluency, knowledge of Tripolitanian and Cyrenaican varieties, Modern Standard Arabic orthography, and at least two years of professional transcription or related linguistic experience. Transcribers will handle speaker attribution, disfluencies, code-switching, loanwords, ambiguous segments, and audio-quality issues, self-review submissions, and collaborate with QA reviewers. Compensation is paid per task or per minute, with flexible scheduling and a paid pilot task before full onboarding.
