Perle is hiring expert Macedonian transcribers to convert audio recordings of native speakers into accurate, time-aligned written transcripts for AI speech recognition, dialogue, and evaluation systems. The role requires native Macedonian fluency, mastery of Cyrillic orthography, the ability to distinguish Macedonian from Bulgarian and Serbian, strong regional accent awareness, and at least two years of professional transcription, captioning, court reporting, broadcast, translation, or linguistic annotation experience. Transcribers will handle speaker identification, overlapping speech, disfluencies, dialectal and code-switched speech, ambiguous segments, and audio-quality issues, while self-reviewing submissions and collaborating with QA reviewers. The position offers paid pilot tasks, per-task or per-minute compensation, flexible scheduling, and eligibility for additional related projects.
