The Ministry of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, through AMIAD, is hiring a full-time Expert Embedded Development Engineer for its Edgeops team in Bruz, France. The role designs embedded Linux and firmware for AI applications on ARM devices, develops C/C++ and RTOS software, secures and optimizes embedded systems, brings up and debugs target boards, and contributes to testing, architecture, code reviews, and AI outreach. Candidates need a master’s-level degree, at least eight years of embedded development experience focused on Linux, and expertise in C/C++, Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildroot, or equivalent; Python, network programming, real-time operating systems, NPUs, GPUs, robotics, and data science are assets. The position requires a TS security clearance, is open to permanent civil servants and contract employees, and offers remote work.
